Before joining the Tri-City Public Library District in July 2026, Candi spent several years as a substitute teacher, where she loved interacting with students and teachers at all grade levels.

She enjoys meeting people, and she is looking forward to assisting patrons with all of their library needs.

A lifelong reader, she enjoys a wide variety of genres. She and her husband are parents to a daughter in college and a teenage son. She is active in her church and she likes to volunteer when she can.

She also loves to roller skate (on quads, not in-lines) and loves the mountains of the Ozarks and Eastern Tennessee.
