Hailey was recently hired at the Tri-City Public Library District in August of 2025. While studying at the University of Illinois, her studies were focused in English and History. In May of 2025, she graduated with her Bachelor's degree from UIS. 

While attending the University of Illinois, she worked as a writing tutor in The Learning Hub. While working at the Hub she gained a passion for helping others with their writing skills and sharing her love of language. Working at the Tri-City Public Library District gives her a chance to continue sharing this love of reading, education and language with the community.

Along with reading and writing, Hailey is also a huge movie lover. One of her favorite movie quotes that she likes to live by is "Have courage and be kind"(Cinderella 2015).
